The 13th International Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine Gynecology Successfully Concludes, Highlighting TCM Approaches to Female Reproductive Health Disorders
(Changsha, China, December 1, 2024) – The 13th International Conference on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Gynecology and the Seminar on TCM Diagnosis and Treatment of Female Reproductive Health Disorders took place from November 30 to December 1, 2024, in Changsha.
This event gathered renowned experts, scholars, and clinicians from around the globe to discuss advancements and future directions in the TCM approach to female reproductive health issues.
Professor Shulan Tang, a prominent TCM gynecology expert, delivered a keynote speech titled "Integrating Cycle Regulation and Syndrome Differentiation in Treating Infertility." Drawing on extensive clinical research, she elaborated on the unique efficacy of combining cycle regulation methods with syndrome differentiation in addressing infertility, particularly in improving ovarian function, regulating endocrine balance, and enhancing pregnancy success rates. Her presentation, enriched with clinical case studies and theoretical analysis, sparked lively discussions and received high acclaim from attendees.
In recognition of her outstanding contributions to TCM gynecology and her efforts in promoting the global dissemination of TCM, Professor Tang was elected Vice President of the 5th Council of the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies (WFCMS) Gynecology Committee. This honor underscores her authoritative position in the field and highlights the rising prominence of Chinese TCM gynecology on the international academic stage.
The conference, themed "Seminar on TCM Diagnosis and Treatment of Female Reproductive Health Disorders," featured multiple specialized forums.
